VRMintel recently confirmed an investment group has added even more companies to their portfolio, including a payment processor. This move leaves Ascent as the only small, independently-owned payment processor left to focus on the Vacation Rental industry. We started Ascent because we saw Vacation Rental Property Managers being charged incorrectly and grossly under-served by their credit card processor. The Vacation Rental industry can be complex and misunderstood. We designed better products and committed to the highest level of service to help this industry succeed because we knew even then that we could do better, and you deserved better. We don’t think you should have to wait months or pay more to get your funds at the time of guest booking. We also don’t charge to help you with chargebacks.
